#SoontoDrop My Most Anticiapted Reads of the Week

Another release week is here and these five books are on the top of my TBR for the week! Full disclaimer, though, there are so many other books releasing that I want to read, and but it just feels ineffective to have a most anticipated list with 10 books on it.

Check back throughout the week in order to see my reviews and other book news, and make sure you head over to my Facebook page for your chance to win an e-book copy of one of the many new releases being published this week!

Also, don’t forget to comment on any post throughout the week in order to enter to win any ebook from your own TBR ($5.99 Limit).  Each comment is an entry, so make sure to comment multiple times.

My musings…

This little world of standalones is what introduced me to the writing of Ilsa Madden-Mills, and ever since the beginning, I have been intrigued by the character of Spider.  Then she delivered a short story for him, and I immediately needed more.  I absolutely cannot wait to dive into this one tonight.  He is going to be my bedmate, but you can snag him TOMORROW!!!

Full review to come next week.

Synopsis:

He calls himself Spider.

I just know him as the sinfully gorgeous guy with eyes of fire that fate places next to me on the airplane.

I didn’t who he really was . . . future rock star . . . my stepbrother.

He kissed me because he thought he’d never see me again. He would.

Everyone warned me about him.

They told me he was careless and ruthless and screwed up.

They said he’d leave me with a hole in my heart.

Maybe I should have listened.

Maybe I should have built a fortress to keep him out.

But I crumbled instead.

They say an unbreakable thread connects those who are destined to meet. If that’s true, then the moment he sat next to me, we were bound together forever.

He just had to figure it out before it’s too late…

My musings…

Love Meghan March. Love her characters. Love her stories. After the cliffhanger from Ruthless King, I cannot wait to see where she is going with this trilogy.  No matter what happens, it will keep me on the edge of my seat. I have no doubts about that.

Full review to come on Wednesday.

Synopsis:

The Mount Trilogy continues with

Defiant Queen…

I’m his entertainment. His toy. Payment on a debt.

I tell myself I hate him, but every time he walks into the room, my body betrays me. How can I want him and fear him in the same moment?

They told me he’d mess with my head. Make it go to war with my body.

But I didn’t realize it would be complete anarchy.

I should’ve known better. When Mount’s involved, there are no rules.

I will not surrender. I will not show weakness. I’ll stand my ground and make it out of this bargain with my heart and soul intact.

But he has other plans . . .

Defiant Queen is the second book of the Mount Trilogy. Mount and Keira’s story concludes in Sinful Empire.

Bad HabitReleasing Thursday, November 16, 2017

My musings…

I have always looked at Charleigh Rose’s books.  I’ve been intrigued by the angsty, forbidden romance aspects of each book, so I’ve decided to dive in with Bad Habit.  I am so freaking excited for it.  From the teasers and excerpts released in the group, I cannot wait to submerge myself in the world of a new-to-me author.

Full review to come on Saturday.

Synopsis:

BRIAR

I was infatuated with Asher Kelley the moment he came tumbling through my brother’s window five years ago.
Even bruised and bloodied, he was the most beautiful boy I’d ever seen.
We couldn’t ever be together.
I was too young, and he was too untouchable.
He was too troubled, and I was too naive.
But the heart is rebellious, and mine decided it didn’t care about any of those things.
As I got older, harmless flirting turned to stolen moments in dark corners.
Until one day, he was gone without a trace.
Now, two years later, he’s back.
Callous and cruel.
He’s my brother’s best friend. My parents’ worst nightmare.
I should hate him.
But like a Bad Habit, I can’t quit him.

ASHER

I was drawn to Briar Vale from the first time she looked up at me with stars in her big, blue eyes.
She was just a kid, nothing but elbows and knees, but she was the most beautiful creature I’d ever seen.
We could never be together.
I was too old and she was too off limits.
She was too good and I was too fucked up.
Eventually, the temptation became too much to resist.
I risked everything for a kiss and she betrayed me.
Two years have passed and I’m forced to see her again, but now she’s all grown up.
She’s my best friend’s baby sister. My downfall.
I hate her for what she did.
But she’s always been my drug of choice.

My musings…

Karina Halle is another favorite writer of mine, and I’ve been loving this lighter version of her romances she has been writing recently.  This whole synopsis, the premise that begins their romances, seems like the perfect romance. I can’t wait to get started.

Full review to come on Thursday.

Synopsis:

She’s bad at love, but he’s even worse…

Marina is hot, blonde, and wickedly smart, but when it comes to men? She’s hopeless. Between her quirks and her lack of filter, there isn’t a man in Los Angeles that will stick around after the third date.

Her handsome, charming friend Lazarus has the opposite problem. Everyone wants to be his girlfriend, but he gets bored and moves on quickly.

There’s only one way to figure out why neither of them has cracked this love thing– they’ll date each other. On paper, it’s the perfect experiment. But in reality, things between Marina and Laz get complicated quickly.

They might be bad at love, but they are even worse at being friends.

My musings…

M. Robinson is the queen of angst and drama.  Her books are always filled with anti-heroes who do really bad things, but I love them. The power they exude, the dirty mouths they have, and the way they love their woman make them irresistible, and I can never get enough.

Full review to come on Saturday.

Synopsis:

I didn’t know darkness and evil lurked inside me until I had to murder in order to survive. Forced to become my own worst enemy.

With so much blood on my hands, I was surprised I could still see my own skin.

I killed.

I tortured.

I loved…

I played God while I was rotting in Hell. Thriving on control and power was the only way I knew how to
live. There were no other options.

If you weren’t my friend, you were my foe. If you weren’t with me, you were against me. Traitors, as I called them. There were no imaginary lines. I’d crossed them all. No boundaries. No second chances. No redemption.

Not for me.

For them.

For anyone.

Only for her…

She loved me. Always convinced I was a saint, never believing I was just another sinner.

A fucking monster.

Until it was too late.

Except, I didn’t choose this life.

It. Chose. Me.
