Musings…

Amo Jones doesn’t hold back the drama, the angst, or the plot twists with Flip Trick. Be prepared for the ride of your life and a HOOOOTTTTT, dominate hero that will melt your knickers. Seriously. Maddox is a destroyer of hearts and ovaries.  Plus, there is a host of secondary characters that are just as wonderful

Synopsis:

I did something I had never done before.

I had a one-night stand.

Then in true me fashion, I left my phone at his house during my desperate venture to escape.

I tried hard to ignore the texts sent to my best friend’s phone…

Amethyst: Sup, these selfies are cute as shit, but your lips looked better wrapped around my…

I did NOT text him back.

I DID vow to never speak of him, or that night again…

I’m Amethyst Lily Tatum, and up until this point, I’d managed to maintain a fairly low-key life. I’m what you would call a socially unacceptable hot mess. Instead of partying, I’m skating, flipping ollie’s over guys who loved to underestimate me. Then I started college, met a wild girl who I would soon call my best-friend, had my first drunk one-night stand, left my phone at his house, and then, when I finally managed to meet my mom’s new boyfriend, I found out that my one-night stand, was now my new stepbrother.

*this is a standalone novel*

Musings…

All I need to know is that Rachel Van Dyken has written something new in the Eagle Elite series to know I want it desperately.  I literally don’t need a title, a synopsis, or a teaser.  I just need the words.  All the words.  This is a top mafia romance favorite.

Review coming Friday

 Synopsis:

From New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Rachel Van Dyken comes a new story in her Eagle Elite series…

Every family has rules, the mafia just has more….
Do not speak to the bosses unless spoken to.
Do not make eye contact unless you want to die.
And above all else, do not fall in love.
Renee Cassani’s future is set.
Her betrothal is set.
Her life, after nannying for the five families for the summer, is set
Somebody should have told Vic Colezan that.
He’s a man who doesn’t take no for an answer.
And he only wants one thing.
Her.
Somebody should have told Renee that her bodyguard needed as much discipline as the kids she was nannying.
Good thing Vic has a firm hand.

**Every 1001 Dark Nights novella is a standalone story. For new readers, it’s an introduction to an author’s world. And for fans, it’s a bonus book in the author’s series. We hope you’ll enjoy each one as much as we do.**

Twisted Secrets COMING THURSDAY

Musings…

I LOVE THIS WORLD. GOING BACK TO IT WAS LIKE COMING HOME TO MY DARK & DEPRAVED FAMILY. This is a must read series for dark romance lovers, as her writing is phenomenal.

Synopsis:

My whole life, there had only been one rule. Don’t go to Chicago. It always made me feel like a damsel in distress, trapped in a tower. But my life was filled with kings and queens and the most noble knights and I didn’t need another fairytale.

I needed a bad boy.

Brye McCowan was just that. He was smooth, and seductive. Dark, dangerous and downright drool worthy too. I saw trouble swirling around him in place of a shadow. He was my one rule personified.

And I couldn’t stop myself from kissing him.

Which was right about the time that whole fairytale thing kicked back in. Only this time I wasn’t surrounded by heroes. These were the villains, wicked and vengeful. And Brye was one of them. When all was said and done, when all the blood was spilled, the only thing more tormenting than the dungeon he threw me in was knowing it was my family’s twisted secrets that put me there.
