No one does a royal romance quite like Emma Chase. This world she has created and the characters she has developed over the course of this standalone series has entirely captivated me. I love them all. This is one of my favorites series of all times.
FULL REVIEW TO COME ON TUESDAY
Princess Lenora Celeste Beatrice Arabella Pembrook had an unusual childhood. She was raised to be a Queen—the first Queen of Wessco.
It’s a big deal.
When she’s crowned at just nineteen, the beautiful young monarch is prepared to rule. She’s charming, clever, confident and cunning.
What she isn’t…is married.
It’s her advising council’s first priority. It’s what Parliament is demanding, and what her people want.
Lenora has no desire to tie herself to a man—particularly one who only wants her for her crown. But compromises must be made and royals must do their duty.
Even Queens. Especially them.
Years ago, Edward Langdon Richard Dorian Rourke, walked away from his title and country. Now he’s an adventurer—climbing mountains, exploring jungles, going wherever he wants, when he wants—until family devotion brings him home.
And a sacred promise keeps him there.
To Edward, the haughty, guarded little Queen is intriguing, infuriating…and utterly captivating. Wanting her just might drive him mad—or become his greatest adventure.
Within the cold, stone walls of the royal palace—mistrust threatens, wills clash, and an undeniable, passionate love will change the future of the monarchy forever.
Every dynasty has a beginning. Every legend starts with a story.
This is theirs.

Julie Johnson is one of my favorites, but this series has a special place in my heart because it is what introduced me to her books. I always love the world she creates and the romance she develops. This series also tends to be a bit more on the suspenseful side, so that speaks to my favorite trope. If you haven’t checked this one out, you must.
FULL REVIEW TO COME THIS WEEK
** The fifth and final book in the internationally bestselling BOSTON LOVE STORY series. Can be read as a complete STANDALONE contemporary romance. **
Shelby Hunt has the perfect life, married to the perfect man.
At least, that’s what anyone would think, looking at her. They couldn’t possibly know about the past five years of lonely nights, or the divorce papers still sitting unsigned on her husband’s desk, or the shady business practices he’s brought home on more than one occasion — often in the form of scary men with loaded guns and briefcases full of laundered cash.
The truth is, Shelby’s perfect life is starting to feel like a prison… one she’s not sure she’ll escape from alive…
Special Agent Conor Gallagher has no time for romance.
As the head of Boston’s elite Organized Crime division, the seasoned FBI agent is far more interested in tracking down bad guys than wining-and-dining dates. But when a new case steers him directly into Shelby’s path, he can’t help the fierce protective instincts that rise up inside him.
She needs an ally. A protector. Someone to keep her safe until the fallout from her husband’s criminal activities is contained. But as Conor gets closer to the plucky brunette, that protectiveness starts to feel a whole lot like passion… and the more time he spends with her, the harder it is to imagine ever letting her go…
SO WRONG IT’S RIGHT is a full-length standalone contemporary romance about a woman trying to escape a broken marriage… and the bossy perpetual bachelor who steps in to keep her safe. Due to sexy-times, strong language, and suspenseful themes, it is recommended to readers ages 17 and up.
Ava Manello is a new author to me. I love a gritty MC book and this one sounds so different from the norm. I am definitely intrigued.

This is not your normal MC story.
Abandoned at birth, Rebel has been raised by the men of Hellion MC. Happy and successful, living the life she’s chosen outside of the MC, everything changes when her mother surfaces on her 30th birthday, desperate to forge a relationship with her daughter.
All is not is as it seems.
Duplicity and betrayal threaten not only everything she holds dear, but her very existence. Forced to decide between the mother she’s always wanted and her MC family almost destroys her.
Who will she choose, and who will she lose?
Trisha Wolfe writes dark, psychological suspense so well. Team that with murder and romance, and I am all in.
FULL REVIEW TO COME.
“How do you see your cup, Dr. West? Half full, or half empty? Her life depends on your answer.”
Dr. Ian West is the best trial consultant in the city, and he knows it. He’s made a living—a damn good one—helping lawyers win cases through his special brand of trial science. As a natural people reader, West’s one grave error presents in the form of a murderer named Quentin Shaver.
Amid Shaver’s trial, a dangerous bargain is struck, and—impressed with Dr. West’s abilities—Shaver engages him in a battle of wits. The prize? One gritty defense attorney from West’s past—the one woman West could fall for.
Loss broke West once before. Grief his sole companion, until Porter breaks down his defenses. But just as West is about to take a chance on love again, Porter becomes leverage in a sadistic game between doctor and madman.
Can Dr. West save the woman he loves before the last cup runs empty?
Gah! This book. Not just the cover, which is gorgeous, but the synopsis sucked me right on in. I am not going to sugar coat it because this book isn’t easy to read, but it is so good. It should be on your TBR.

Beneath his Stars is book one of a duet. It’s a beautifully written romance with a little angst and some sexual content and ends on one heck of a cliffhanger. Fortunately, the conclusion is due for release on November 15th, and I can’t wait to read it.

I met Adam Nova under the twinkling lights of a nighttime sky.
He was hiding, but that gorgeous boy didn’t belong in the dark.
Nevertheless it was where he lived; a different world than mine.
I was Livingston Montgomery, Southern debutante.
With the world at my fingertips, I was well on my way to being another spoiled socialite.
But I didn’t want money.
I didn’t want social status.
I wanted him; tattoos, sarcastic smirk, bad boy reputation and all.
It didn’t matter that he was from the wrong side of the tracks.
It didn’t matter that my family forbade me from seeing him.
I just wanted to be Beneath His Stars.
