My most anticipated releases of the week are here! Make sure you check them out, add them to your TBR, and pre-order as soon as possible. They are the books I am dying to read or the books I am raving about!
One, I love that we have a female drummer. Two, I really enjoy Devney’s writing. Three, this world, which was introduced with Sarina Bowen’s Lies and Lullabies, was fantastic. I can’t wait to see what Devney is going to deliver with this one.

From the moment Quinn Montgomery sat behind her first snare and cymbal set, she was destined for fame and glory. As Hush Note’s infamous female drummer, she sets the rhythm for the band’s chart-toppings hits. When people tap their feet to their music, it’s to her pulse.
Quinn is content to live in a world away from her family and the cage of her youth. Her only regret is leaving Graham Hayes behind without a goodbye. No matter how many sold-out stadiums she plays, no matter how many crowds sing her songs, his voice haunts her when the music stops.
When a family tragedy forces her to return home to Montana, she plans to leave the second she’s paid her respects. But seeing Graham again turns her life upside down. As a boy, he wasn’t able to make her stay. As a man, he might be her future.
If they can mend their rifts and find solace in the refrains.

I love Kristy’s rom-coms and her sense of humor. She delivers steam and humor in spades, and I think that her voice as an author is fresh and original. This standalone is sure to be a must read.

I can explain.
I realize the wig and makeup don’t help my case, but that’s not the point.
The point is, Sebastian came at me first.
He’s the one who started this war, but I’m the one who finished it.
I’m not even sorry about it.
Fine. Maybe I am. A little.
That’s the only explanation as to why I just agreed to play his fake girlfriend so he—we—can win a million dollars in the hottest reality show contest ever filmed on campus.
Don’t get it wrong though, Sebastian and I may look like we love each other, but everyone knows reality TV is nothing but scripted lies and staged kisses.
I love Kate’s writing. She writes wonderfully and fully developed characters with a heap of steam. I always know I’m getting a great romance with her.

Max Murphy’s no-fail plan for kicking this year’s ass and getting his life back on track:
Forget about the cheating ex. Forget all about him. No more sad sack moping. None of that downer vibe. None of it.
Look for a new place to live in order to move out of my sister’s basement. Free digs are great but killing my sex life.
Return the intramural softball league to glory and greatness.
Fall in fresh, lusty love with Jory Hayzer, the hot new science teacher the minute I see him and his sexy Superman hair.
Get the hot science teacher on my trivia team. Couples who play together stay together.
Spend an entire school year wooing the very hot but also very skittish science teacher.
Fall in hard, crazy love with him in the process.
Freak out, screw it all up, and hope to hell there’s a way to make it right.
