Corinne Michaels and Melanie Harlow are not only some of my favorite writers, but they write some of the most heart-wrenching stories. Even though they break me a bit, the stories are always about healing, and I love that.
FULL REVIEW TO COME NEXT WEEK
From NYT Bestseller Corinne Michaels & USA Today Bestseller Melanie Harlow, comes a second chance standalone romance.
Ian Chase broke my heart at seventeen, and I’ve spent the last eighteen years hating him for it.
He makes it easy, with his smart mouth and playboy lifestyle—which I unfortunately have to observe since he lives behind me. Every time I see him climbing out of his pool, practically naked and unreasonably sexy, my blood boils.
I’ve always loved to loathe him.
I never planned to need him.
London Parish is my little sister’s best friend, not that it stopped me from falling for her.
Our history is complicated. The only thing we have in common is being godparents to my sister’s three adorable kids—until our lives are changed in one tragic moment.
Now we’re trying to raise the children we love, mourn an unthinkable loss, and fight an undeniable attraction.
My life is already upside-down, and the last thing I need is for old feelings to resurface.
Because I’ll never be able to keep her, no matter how hard I try to hold her close.

OH, BOY!!!! Carmen Jenner absolutely scandalized me and broke my heart with Levi’s involvement in the first book, which you do not have to read for this one. I have been waiting years for his HEA, and I’m so freaking excited!
FULL REVIEW TO COME ON FRIDAY
Levi Quinn has it all—money, groupies, a panty-melting smile, and a really big d*ck.
At least, he had it all. Until an angry redhead joined the Taint world tour and turned his life upside-down. Levi fell in love with her. His bandmate did too. It did not end well.
Brielle Kagawa doesn’t keep company with rock stars, but when this gifted cellist finds herself kicked out of the Orchestre de Parisan all-expenses-paid gig in the south of France seems too good to be true.
Because it is.
The man footing the bill might be a disorderly drunk, but he has an offer she can’t refuse—stay in his chateau and play for the month. No strings attached.
The truth about rock stars is that they’re awfully good players, but Levi isn’t the only one who knows how to master a set of strings.
She doesn’t have a heart to break.

Aly Martinez’s duets always wreck me, and I enjoy the torture for some reason. I know the wait is going to be agony, but it will be so incredibly worth it. Everything from the characters to the story always captivates me.

The Truth About Lies (The Truth Duet, #1)
Truth: From over a thousand miles away, I watched on the screen of my phone as two men murdered my wife. And I was helpless to save her.
Consumed by hate and rage, I spent four years running from my memories.
Until a shattered woman gave me a reason to stop.
Cora lived in a nightmare, but through sheer force of will, she’d turned it into something beautiful. She had a smile that could pierce the darkest soul. And with one glance, she shredded mine.
Lie: I was only there for a fresh start.
Lie: I had no idea what I was getting myself into.
Lie: There was nothing I could do to save her, either.
But that’s the thing about lies—you never know who to believe.
Alright, this is going to be my second book from Megan Brandy, and I’m not going to lie. I am scared. The reactions I have seen on FB are extreme, but Serena said I had to read it so I am. Someone might have to hold me or raise money for my therapy.
FULL REVIEW TO COME THURSDAY
As head of Blackline Academy, I spent my days training with the elite, getting them ready for the one thing each hopes to gain in the end, the chance to call themselves a Blaze.
I had it all figured out, knew exactly who and what I wanted in life, then he came back, determined more than ever to prove me wrong.
He’s forced his way into my world, demanded my attention no matter the cost.
He pushed until I fell.
And then he knocked me down.
But nothing is ever as it seems.
Hate is where it started.
Love is where it was headed.
Lies are what destroyed everything.
Now I’m left to wonder…did I fall for the wrong Blaze?
