Happy New Year!!! I hope that everyone has had an amazing holiday season filled with so much love, family, friends, and, of course, books! The new year is here with a whole slew of new books that I am so excited to read and share with you all, but before we go forward, it is always good to look back.
December brought 28 book reviews and numerous cover reveals, excerpts, teasers, and giveaways, and January is looking to bring more of the same. I am ecstatic about the new releases coming during this first month of 2017, and I am looking forward to snuggling by the fire with a good book in my hand watching the snow fall! I hope January brings you the same!
Below you will find a list of the books with a glimpse of my initial reactions to the book and a link to my full review and other book information. As always, an MB will indicated my top 5 books of the month, and are books I would highly recommend being put on your TBR!

4 Make Your Resolution CROWNS
Oh my Lord, heat for days! Be prepared when you begin this book that it is hot, steamy, and utterly sexy. Each and every single story sizzles.
4.5 Cinderella CROWNS
Sawyer Bennett is one of my favorite authors. I know that her books will deliver a lot of heart and heat, and Max delivers in all regards, adding a little extra heart for the true romantics in the book world.

4.5 JUST STAY CROWNS
Debra Anastasia has delivered a unique and powerful story of love, depicting that it can overcome anything, even time. This story has mystery, elements of supernatural, romance, and suspense.

4 ROARING CROWNS
Whispers and the Roars is unlike any romance I have ever read before, and it it took me time to figure out what was going on and how all the pieces of this intricate story were being placed together, but when I turned the last page, I realized the K. Webster had constructed an incredibly dark, yet powerful story that details the power of love.
Travis King has thrown down the gauntlet, and he is laying his claim to the top book boyfriend position. Checkmate: This is Love by Kennedy Fox is sexy, and swoon-worthy, and HOT, so freaking HOT with just the right amount of drama to keep it interesting!

Being Brooke by Emma Hart is pure romantic comedy perfection, and it will sit in my top 3 romantic comedies of 2016. It is sexy, sweet, and laugh-out-loud hilarious! I love every single thing about this book!

4 GET NAILED CROWNS
Staci Hart delivers the steam and the pure and unadulterated lust with these four shorts! Be warned, sit near a fan when reading, because these stories are HOT!

5 STONE-FILLED CROWNS
If someone tasked me with the activity to write down everything I ever wanted in a romance novel onto stones, the following words would appear: romantic, steamy, hopeful, reflective, funny, charming, and life-altering. All of these words are the adjectives I would use to describe the wonderfulness that is Love Rehab!
3.5 Cheeky CROWNS
I am a sucker for holiday novella. It is one of my favorite parts of the holidays in the book community, and Cheeky Christmas provides me with everything I love about these books. It is quick, steamy, with just enough holiday cheer to make it fun.
4.5 Second Chance CROWNS
With The Only One, Lauren Blakely delivers a second chance romance that will melt readers’ hearts and heat their sheets. With each passing moment in this book, readers will swoon over the recollection of their past sweeping romance and will succumb the passion that emanates from Gabriel and Penny in the present.
5 MAFIA ROYALTY CROWNS
I love, absolutely love, mafia romances. I am not sure why, but they are my weakness. The dangerous men you shouldn’t love who live a life of crime and violence but are secretly good men driven by loyalty and family, the woman who are fierce and strong who choose to live the life, and the action and romance combined entertain to no end. Of all the mafia romances, though, Nico has taken the top position. I loved it! Every single action packed, heat laden scene of this book is fantastic!
5 I’M HOOKED CROWNS
Hooked by Brenda Rothert is a sweet and seductive, an enjoyable read that left this reader with a smile on her face.
5 WOUND TIGHT CROWNS
I am a fan of Tessa Bailey. Her writing is always good, the stories are always so HOT, and her characters are always well-developed and enjoyable, but Wound Tight has completely topped it all. It is hands down my favorite novel I have ever read by her!
4 Sweet CROWNS
Compromising Positions, my first book by Jenna Bayley-Burke, is a fun, light-hearted, and sweet romance.
4.5 FEELS LIKE FOREVER CROWNS
J. Daniels has hit the mark again! With swoon-worthy heroes, ridiculously sexy banter, and a sassy heroine, Hit the Spot is sure to be another smash hit for this incredibly talented author.
4 GRAVITY CROWNS
Lovers of Pressure (A Valley Hospital Novella) are going to absolutely fall in love with this small glimpse into the life of Cole and Bailey, providing readers with the HEA we all so desperately crave.
How do you put into words how much you love a book? Not just for the story or the characters, but for how good the writing is. Julie Johnson has this way of lacing each word, each sentence with such emotion that her stories vibrate with life, and The Monday Girl is the perfect example of her talent. From page one, I was gripped.
5 LIVE WITHOUT FEAR CROWNS
I have a special place in my heart for the Manwhore series. It is the first series I read by Katy Evans, and it made me fall in love with her writing. With each book in this series, I became more enamored with Saint, Tahoe, and now Callan. Who would ever though that Callan could live up to Tahoe, my favorite of the manwhores, but he absolutely did. From the very first pages of this book I was sucked in by the characters and the nontraditional take on the standard best-friend sister/office romance trope.
4 ICE PRINCESS CROWNS
On Thin Ice is a romantic suspense novel that chronicles Camille’s life as she deals with the murder of her family and a threat against her own life. With this book, Carrie Aarons has crafted a story of love and heat laced with the danger and suspense.
Coming to you in January…
Not Pictured: Broken Record by K.A. Linde, Bet Me by Lia Riley, and Love in Lingerie by Alessandra Torre
It seems that January is going to be another fantastic month of book releases. Of course I will still be revealing covers, sharing excerpts, and hosting giveaways, so make sure that you keep coming back in order to see what is going on in this ever-bustling book world!
Happy reading,
I’ve only read 2 book on the list. For All The Evers and Swing. Both of which I loved.
This makes me feel like there are a ton of books I need to read…
So many books so little time!
I wanna read Hate Story. And the Lauren Blakely book, haven’t read that one yet. My poor TBR list. 😭
Some great books released in December!
