When this book was released I had already read a previous series by E.M. Abel and really enjoyed the characters, plot and writing style of the author. As a result, purchasing this new release was automatic for me, and I was thoroughly rewarded for my choice to one-click on Amazon. This story is beautiful and raw. The characters, especially the heroine, Penelope, are real and their emotions are conveyed so effectively that you feel it in your heart and gut. I am mad for her, wrecked with her, and happy when she finds her way on her own. Brandon is a great flawed hero. He helps the heroine to live free and get back to doing what she needs to be whole, and she in turn helps him in a similar fashion. The resolution, which I will keep to myself, is just perfect, but know that this is a story about a woman who loses her identity to her marriage and her journey back. This book has put E.M. Abel on my must-read-everything-she-writes list, and I definitely like to revisit Brandon and
