The synopsis of this book pulled me in and had me requesting an ARC of this book. Why? Well, everyone has read the rockstar romance books, and I was intrigued by the boy bad aspect of the book. The little change in the musician trope has the potential to be incredibly interesting. It is definitely one I am looking forward to reviewing!
Blog Tour and review coming on November 16
Meet the complicated men behind the sexiest boy band in America! In Blow, the start of an emotionally charged series from bestselling author Heidi McLaughlin, an insatiable heartthrob gets blinded by the spotlight—and learns to fight for love.
Bodhi McKnight has always had everything handed to him on a silver platter: fame, success, money, girls. The raven-haired, blue-eyed hottie is the son of Hollywood A-listers, and when he’s asked to join the boy band Virtuous Paradox, his star shoots even higher. But so do expectations, leading Bodhi down a destructive path of addiction—until a drop-dead gorgeous guardian angel shows him her sizzling brand of tough love.
When Bodhi ends up in rehab, he doesn’t expect to meet someone as cool and down-to-earth as Kimberly Gordon. Although he’s enjoyed the company of beautiful, charming women before, none of them have tried to get to know the “real” Bodhi. But Kimberly isn’t fazed by his stardom. She’d rather go horseback riding, teach Bodhi to play guitar, or ask him about his feelings. Soon Bodhi realizes he’s fallen head over heels for her. He just hopes that he’s strong enough to protect what they have from all the pressures and temptations of the outside world.

I love Jana Aston’s Wrong series. These books are fun and dirty, and they have unique twists on typical tropes. Additionally, the characters in the series, so far, have been likable and have a little but of quirk that makes them unique and memorable. I am sure that this story will be more of the same.
Review to come on Tuesday, November 8.
“Um… Who’s there?”
Yeah. That was me, on my last date. Before you feel sorry for me
you should know that I was the one telling the jokes. Jokes as in
plural, because I didn’t stop with just one. Of course not.
Hi, I’m Chloe Scott. The most awkward single girl in the city.
But I’m going to get it together. I am.
I’m going to learn how to date like a grown up.
I’m going to have an orgasm not given to myself.
I’m going to fall in love and live happily ever after.
Right after I get out of this interrogation room.

I cannot wait for this book to be released. The cover was the first thing that caught my attention, because, really do I need to say why! But the synopsis sounded really good, as I love a best friend’s sibling trope. I cannot wait for this one to download to my Kindle on Monday!
Best Friend Rule #1: never want the guy’s sister.
Trent Salway is one of San Francisco’s hot up-and-coming-under-thirty bachelors. A highly successful mutual fund portfolio manager, a workaholic, and a ladies’ man, he’s got everything he could possibly want…except one thing.
Physical therapist Kelsey Quaid dumped her ex-fiancé six months ago because she was tired of not even being a distant second to his career. Which is why despite secretly crushing on her big brother’s best friend for as long as she can remember, there’s no way Kelsey can go there. One workaholic in her life is more than enough, thank you very much.
Before Kelsey’s brother leaves on his Navy SEAL mission, he asks Trent one simple request: make sure Kelsey isn’t dating any assholes while he’s away. As Trent does his best to do just this, he and Kelsey spend more and more time together. Sparks fly, as do a few items of clothing, and the next thing they know things are getting physical between them. Now, Trent has to decide what to do about the woman he’s falling for–the one whose brother would take him down faster than he takes down the enemy. And Kelsey will have to decide if Trent is just another workaholic or if he’s decidedly off limits.

This is another first from the author, and the synopsis and cover was just too intriguing to pass up. I am an absolute sucker for a forbidden romance, and if this is the therapist I’m going to read about then I am all in!
Review to come on November 10.
The nightmares find me.
They steal my breath, slowly suffocating me.
I want it to stop.
He’s supposed to help me.
Instead, he evokes something forbidden.
I know I should run.
But I can’t.
I’ve made my choice.
I want him.
There’s only one problem…
He’s my therapist.
