This week I am excited to read and/or share these five books with you. Some of them are brand new, some are parts of series I have started reading, and some are new standalone novels written by authors I love. Check back throughout the week in order to see my reviews and other book news. You could also win one of the New Release e-books by participating in the giveaway I’m running this week on my Facebook page. Make sure to head over and check it out!
I have yet to encounter a book written by Vi Keeland that I have not thoroughly enjoyed. The stories are always interesting and original recreations tropes. Her heroines are independent and strong. Her heroes are sexy and sweet. I can always count a fantastic steamy romance with this author, and I’m sure Bossman won’t be any different.
The first time I met Chase Parker, I didn’t exactly make a good impression.
I was hiding in the bathroom hallway of a restaurant, leaving a message for my best friend to save me from my awful date.
He overheard and told me I was a bitch, then proceeded to offer me some dating advice.
So I told him to mind his own damn business―his own tall, gorgeous, full-of-himself damn business―and went back to my miserable date.
When he walked by my table, he smirked, and I watched his arrogant, sexy ass walk back to his date.
I couldn’t help but sneak hidden glances at the condescending jerk on the other side of the room. Of course, he caught me on more than one occasion, and winked.
When the gorgeous stranger and his equally hot date suddenly appeared at our table, I thought he was going to rat me out.
But instead, he pretended we knew each other and joined us―telling elaborate, embarrassing stories about our fake childhood.
My date suddenly went from boring to bizarrely exciting.
When it was over and we parted ways, I thought about him more than I would ever admit, even though I knew I’d never see him again.
I mean, what were the chances I’d run into him again in a city with eight million people? Then again…
What were the chances a month later he’d wind up being my new sexy boss?

I really adore Kendall Ryan’s books, and my ratings for them range from 3 CROWNS to 5 CROWNS. You may be wondering why this author is one of my favorites when I sometime rate her books as 3 CROWNS. Well, I love that she takes chances. Some of her plots are taboo, but she seems to write the stories that speak to her, even if they may not be the standard tropes. Sometimes I love what she does and other times it just misses the mark, but what makes me continue to buy her books is the writing style of the author. A Kendall Ryan book is guaranteed to be quick and dirty. And, really, let me be honest, this woman can write dirty phenomenally well! Kendall Ryan also produces great writing. It doesn’t matter if I don’t connect to characters or the plot didn’t connect to me, I can still admire her talent as a writer. Hitched Volume Two, I’m sure, will not be any different.
Arranged marriage? Check.
Cocky new husband? Check.
It’s a marriage of convenience–one I’m determined to keep strictly professional. I can’t be stupid enough to fall for this sexy playboy’s charm or advances. I have to be strong, even if he is my husband.
Except he has a huge cock with an even bigger ego, and his main goal in life seems to be getting me to stroke both. The arrogant bastard is like sweet, sugary candy for my libido. I know he’s bad for me.
But I want to devour every wicked inch of him.
With his sexual prowess and experience, I know he’ll be explosive in the bedroom. And since we’re stuck together for the foreseeable future–keeping up this marriage charade long enough to turn the company profitable again–I deserve something to look forward to at the end of a long workday, right?
What could one little taste hurt?
I will read anything that Meghan Quinn publishes. I can always count on her books to make me laugh-out-loud. Her humor can be crude and dirty, but it is hilarious. Any writer that can make me cry from laughing so hard is an instant one-click author for me. On top of the hilarity, she is a great writer. The characters are always well-developed, and the plot is always appropriately placed. I cannot wait to share with you my thoughts on this newest romantic comedy.
Reese King: Olympic medalist, underwear model, Greek god.
His body is chiseled from rock, sculpted by the weight room, and refined by water.
On a daily basis his skin is completely bare for everyone to see, tan and defined, only covered up by a minuscule piece of spandex. There is no denying his sex appeal.
I hate to admit it, but I’m head over heels infatuated with him.
There is one HUGE problem though. His achingly gorgeous abs, inked up arm, and cocky swagger belong to my boss, the high-profile, reality star bitch from hell and certified heinous human being, Bellini Chambers.
What I think is going to be an easy job assisting a glorified wench turns into a cluster f*ck of epic proportions.
I stumbled upon book one in this series one day while searching Amazon for my next read. The forbidden romance of the professor and the teacher intrigued me, but what I was most interested in was that the heroine actively pursued that professor. This unusual heroine made me want to check it out, and she is certainly a character you learn to love. What made me enjoy this book and continue reading the series is, once again, the writing style of the author. The writing is done well! The characters are complex and raw, and Alex Lucian isn’t afraid to address controversial topics. This book is the follow up to book one, and I am excited to see where they are going to go during this novel.
Coming home to a quiet, dark house.
Meals by myself, because she was already done.
Excuses and apologies, they were never enough.
But even with that, when I touched her—when she arched under me and pulled me deeper— we couldn’t get back to where we needed to be.
Where we used to be.
It was all frustration.
Because even though she was no longer my student, the chemistry was always there.
Adele and I loved each other.
We thought we were unshakeable.
But love isn’t always enough.
It wasn’t enough when I constantly disappointed her.
It wasn’t enough when loss cleaved us in two.
And when she left me, love was not enough.
She didn’t know yet that I’d never stop fighting for her.
But she would.
**Author’s note- Let’s be real clear that this is BOOK TWO of a duet, and you’re going to want to read Tempting before you read this one. Adele and Nathan started their story in that book, and you’ll get the same sex, fighting, and cursing that you did in the first. But if you want it to make sense, read Tempting first. If any of that offends you, please avoid them both.**

This is a new author for me, but I am excited to share my thoughts with you this week! This series comes highly recommended, and the synopsis alone sucks me in. I love a good enemies to lovers trope, so I can’t wait to dive into this story today!

Now I’m in Cricket Creek, SC—a place where no New Yorker belongs—disowned and broke, with a new job that I can’t mess up. Oh yeah, and staring at my one-night stand, who happens to be the complete opposite of my type.
Noah Hunter never should have made it back to my apartment in NYC, and I definitely shouldn’t be in his small town. But fate had another plan. Or a horrible sense of humor.
Who knew Mr. Wrong could feel so right…
Each book in the No Kissing Allowed series is a standalone, full-length story that can be enjoyed out of order.
