My musings…

I love every single character in the Sunder family and every single story, and this is solely due to the writing style of the author.  It is refreshing and beautiful.  Her words make me feel as though I am living the story with the characters.  Their pain and heartache and their joy is written so vividly that I felt as though I could reach into my Kindle and touch it, and, at times, as though I was experiencing their journey with them.  She is a one-of-a-kind writer, and Stay is another fantastic novel!

From NYT & USA Today Bestselling Author A.L. Jackson comes the next sexy, gripping Bleeding Stars Stand-Alone Novel…

I’m Ash Evans.
The life of the party.
Hot. Rich. Charismatic.
A tattooed rock star with the world at my feet.
I burn through women faster than the strike of a match.

I’ve embraced my lifestyle and live it to the fullest.
Until the day my lifestyle caught up to me.

Willow Langston found me at my lowest.
Facedown in a puddle of my own blood.

I owe her my life and I have three months to repay that debt.
What I never should have done was touch her. Kiss her. Take her to my bed.

Love wasn’t supposed to be a part of the equation.
I gave up that nasty complication a long damned time ago.
Now I want her more than my next breath.
But she doesn’t know what I know.

Do I leave to protect her? Or can I face my demons and ask her to Stay?

Preppy Part Two: The Life and Death of Samuel Clearwater (King Series Book 6) by [Frazier, T.M.] Releasing, Tuesday, January 24, 2017

My musings…

T.M. Frazier is one of my go-to dark romance writers.  Her words are like her men, I shouldn’t love them, I know I should be appalled by them, but I just can’t find it in me to care.  I love everything about it, her words, her characters, her stories.  This series has become my drug, and I just don’t want to quit, especially after that cliff-hanger.  I need my Preppy fix stat, and I will be getting it today!

Full review to come on Tuesday!

Preppy finds himself back in a world he once loved, but no longer recognizes. His dim smile can’t hide his inner turmoil and the people he views as family all suddenly feel like polite strangers.

Except for one person. A girl with dark eyes and even darker hair.
A girl who isn’t even an option.

At least, not anymore.

Dre can’t decide who she’s going to listen to. Her heart, her head, or her body. Because two out of those three things have her heading right back to Logan’s Beach. Closure is what she tells herself she’s seeking, but when she unlocks doors that were never meant to be opened she soon discovers that when it comes to Samuel Clearwater, closure might NEVER be an option.

This is book six in the King Series and the second part of Preppy and Dre’s story.

My musings…

Kendall Ryan is one of my go-to steamy romances writers.  I always get a fantastic story that is sometimes fun, sometimes suspenseful, but always entertaining.  What I love most about her books is that they vary in tropes, and she isn’t afraid to step out of her comfort zone to try something new in the romance world.

P.S. I just finished The Room Mate last night, and it was awesome! You guys are going to love it!

Full review to come Wednesday!

The last time I saw my best friend’s younger brother, he was a geek wearing braces. But when Cannon shows up to crash in my spare room, I get a swift reality check.

Now twenty-four, he’s broad shouldered and masculine, and so sinfully sexy, I want to climb him like the jungle gyms we used to enjoy. At six-foot-something with lean muscles hiding under his T-shirt, a deep sexy voice, and full lips that pull into a smirk when he studies me, he’s pure temptation.

Fresh out of a messy breakup, he doesn’t want any entanglements. But I can resist, right?

I’m holding strong until the third night of our new arrangement when we get drunk and he confesses his biggest secret of all: he’s cursed when it comes to sex. Apparently he’s a god in bed, and women instantly fall in love with him.

I’m calling bullshit. In fact, I’m going to prove him wrong, and if I rack up a few much-needed orgasms in the process, all the better.

There’s no way I’m going to fall in love with Cannon. But once we start…I realize betting against him may have been the biggest mistake of my life.

My musings…

I have quickly become a fan of Emma Hart.  I had happened to stumble upon a box set of hers when it was on sale a year or two ago, and I enjoyed it. What really drew me into her writing, though, was Stripped Down and Stripped Bare.  Each of these books is fun and oh so sexy! But what made me a huge fan of hers was  her novel Being Brooke, a romantic comedy and a genre I had yet to read from Ms. Hart.  This novel blew me away and really showcased what an amazing talent this author possesses.  Now, Casanova is venturing back into her more sexy and seductive books, and I cannot wait.  She absolutely knows how to seduce readers with her words, so I just know it will be fantastic.

I loved him more than life.

He broke me and he didn’t even know it.

I ran from him.

He didn’t chase me.

He never needed to, because he knew I’d come back.

He was right.

Death brought me home to him.

Brett Walker.

Drop dead gorgeous and filthy-mouthed with a smile that turns saints to sinners.

A casanova to his core.

My ex-best friend.

And the bad boy whose reputation precedes him—the same reputation I’m tasked with turning to gold… Or so they think.

My musings…

Dirty Dealer will be my first foray into the world of Tia Louise.  So without having ever read a book by her, why is she in my most anticipated reads of the week?  Well, for starters, I have heard fantastic things about her last duet, but more than that, the synopsis of this book sucked me in.  I kept reading it and walking away from it, but I always kept going back and looking and the book and reading the synopsis. I have come to find that if you can’t walk away from something, you should just bite the bullet and do it, and I just have this feeling that the suspense and romance in this novel is going to blow me away!

Full review to come on Friday!
