4 ADDICTIVE CROWNS
Meghan March really just makes the best heroes! Every freaking time, these men she creates just suck me right into the story and has me swooning all over the place. I mean, protective man with a dirty mouth, yes , please! On top of that, her heroines are strong and independent, an equal to her fabulous alpha men. Bad Judgment and her development of Justine and Ryker as well as their relationship is just another shining example of her fantastic ability to develop characters we fall in love with.
The plot is enjoyable, and, like all her stories, there is an element of surprise, a little twist in the plot the reader doesn’t see coming. It kept me engaged until the end.
Overall, another solid hit from one of my favorite authors!
A deliciously sexy enemies to lovers standalone coming this summer from USA Today bestselling author Meghan March.
He’s so arrogant.
She’s so self-righteous.
I can’t stand him.
I want her.
He’s a distraction I don’t need.
She’ll say yes eventually because I’m not giving up.
Justine Porter is stuck between a rock and a stripper pole. She lost her law school scholarship, which means she has two choices to keep her life on track: strip for her tuition or tutor the most distractingly sexy guy in her class—the one she’s been turning down for two years straight. It should be an easy choice, but tutoring Ryker Grant could derail her plans to graduate with honors faster than two-for-one night at the Déjà Vu. Then again, topless has never really been her color.
She could take the easy road, just this once . . . but the deal has enough loopholes to trip anyone up.
Who knew they taught bad judgment in law school?
I am currently reading an ARC of this book right now, and I am in love with the writing style of this author. Her words are vivid and drenched in emotion. More than her words, I fell in love with the boys of Sunder. They are flawed and damaged, and there is nothing I love more than a damaged man finding refuge in the woman he loves.
Since starting this series, I have been desperate to see Austin get his happily-ever-after. He is so sad and damaged in the first books of the series that I just wanted to reach into my Kindle and hug him, take care of him. I am loving watching it all go down.
Wait is another phenomenal additional to this series!
She is his strength and he is her weakness. And this time he won’t let her go.
Edie Evans is gorgeous.
She’s also the definition of off-limits.
But that didn’t stop me from sneaking into her room to comfort her at night.
But guys like me? We destroy everything, so it should have been no surprise when I destroyed us, too.
The night I sent her running, I thought I’d never see her again.
Until I saw her standing like a vision in the crowd.
Austin Stone is dangerous.
He broke my heart and I refused to give him the chance to do it again.
It’s been years since I’ve seen him, and now I can’t do anything but stare at the gorgeous, tattooed man playing onstage. I should run. I know I should. But like a fool, I run straight back to him.
Our desire is overpowering.
Our need unrelenting.
She is my hope.
He is my weakness.
We should have known a passion this intense would burn us right into the ground.
I am sucker for a good romantic comedy. I love a book that can make me swoon and laugh at the same time. The synopsis alone had me chuckling, so I cannot wait to dive into this ARC and share my thoughts with you when the blog tour runs for this book.
Meredith definitely drank too much last night. Why on earth else would she have woken up without her purse, and the distinct memory of giving her number to a stripper? So gross.
The good news is, she never has to see him again. Except to get her purse. And to discover she did another terrible, horrible, very bad thing while drunk- she accidentally became a professional penis photographer.
Rob wishes more people would believe him when he says he truly is stripping his way through journalism school. It’s the only way Millennials can afford school with no student loans. When Meredith quite literally stumbles across his path, he’s super smitten. Sadly, she is less so once she sobers up.
Can he trick her into dating him?
Can she trick her mother into thinking she has a respectable job?
And can anyone recover once the internet picks up their story? It’s a long shot for both of them.
I LOVE all things Louise Bay! I began reading her books when her Empire State trilogy went on sale, and I never looked back. I can always count on her to write stories that are full of drama and angst and really hot and dirty talkers. Honestly, she hasn’t let me down yet, and I’m sure this one will be no different. This will be an automatic one-click for me, and it will be moved to the top of my TBR pile.
THE KING OF WALL STREET IS BROUGHT TO HIS KNEES BY AN AMBITIOUS BOMBSHELL.
I keep my two worlds separate.
At work, I’m King of Wall Street. The heaviest hitters in Manhattan come to me to make money. They do whatever I say because I’m always right. I’m shrewd. Exacting. Some say ruthless.
At home, I’m a single dad trying to keep his fourteen year old daughter a kid for as long as possible. If my daughter does what I say, somewhere there’s a snowball surviving in hell. And nothing I say is ever right.
When Harper Jayne starts as a junior researcher at my firm, the barriers between my worlds begin to dissolve. She’s the most infuriating woman I’ve ever worked with.
I don’t like the way she bends over the photocopier—it makes my mouth water.
I hate the way she’s so eager to do a good job—it makes my dick twitch.
And I can’t stand the way she wears her hair up exposing her long neck. It makes me want to strip her naked, bend her over my desk and trail my tongue all over her body.
If my two worlds are going to collide, Harper Jayne will have to learn that I don’t just rule the boardroom. I’m in charge of the bedroom, too.
I am going to be 100% honest with you. I own a handful of books written by Tijan, but I have yet to read one. This seems completely crazy, I know, but let me tell you why I cannot stop. This author is the supreme ruler of writing a synopsis that intrigues me, then I read all these reviews that rave about the book, and my finger just starts inching towards the one-click button. I just cannot stop, and this book will not be any different!
The whole synopsis is like candy to me. Socially awkward girl, check! Hot, so cocky you want to hate him hero, check! Angst, drama, and falling in love, check! See, I am completely sold. I will be purchasing this the day it releases, because like all the other books, it just belongs on Kindle.
He told me to ‘settle, girl.’
He asked if ‘something was wrong with me?’
He said I was an ‘easy target.’
That was within minutes when I first met Caden Banks.
I labeled him an *sshole, but he was more than that. Arrogant. Smug. Alpha.
He was also to-die-for gorgeous, and my stepbrother’s fraternity brother.
Okay, yes I was a little naive, a tad bit socially awkward, and the smallest amount of stalker-ish, but if Caden Banks thought he could tell me what to do, he had another thing coming.
I came to college with daydreams about being with my stepbrother, but what would happen if I fell for the anti-stepbrother instead?
