September brought another wonderful month of releases and books. I read and reviewed 22 novels and revealed numerous covers, excepts, and teasers. The list runs the gamut, with everything from romantic comedies YA to suspense. Below you will find a list of the books with a glimpse of my initial reactions to the book, a link to my full review and other book information, and an MB will indicated my top 5 books of the month.
5 FLYING CROWNS
Erotic with a hero you will love to hate. This book had me engaged from the very beginning with the broken pilot and the stewardess who brings him to his knees. Whitney G. definitely returned to the romance world with bang when she published this book!

5 NOW & FOREVER CROWNS
This series was my first by A.M. Johnson, and I absolutely fell in love with her writing. Her plots are always involved, her characters are well loved, and the writing is beautifully poetic. So, returning to the group of characters that started it all was a wonderful treat, and the readers got to see their characters in times of their lives that we often don’t, anniversaries, becoming grandparents, becoming parents for a third time. It was absolutely amazing!

4 PROTECT ME CROWNS
This book was my first by the author, and I thoroughly enjoyed the forbidden. The hero is complicated and often comes off as stolid, but he begins to change as he protects the heroine. I truly loved the evolution of both characters, and the extra addition of suspense kept me on my toes.

4 HOCKEY LOVE CROWNS
I am a huge fan of Sarina Bowen. I have read every single book that she has published, and I have enjoyed if not absolutely loved every single one. Rookie Move is just another example of her ability as a writer. The readers will fall in love with Leo Trevi, and this story is one that make you tear up with some emotions of sadness, but mostly from the HEA that Sabrina Bowen provides.

5 I’M GOING TO ROME CROWNS
I loved every single part of this book. The characters, the story, the writing, the description of the town and culture. Truly, every single aspect of this book was amazing, and it is definitely sitting at the top of my re-read pile.

4.5 BOBBY PIN CROWNS
Nicola Rendell is going to be an author to look out for. Her writing style sucked me into the story with her unique blend of outrageous characters, suspense, and seriously steamy scenes, making her a unique voice in this bustling world of romance. I certainly can’t wait to see what she does next!

4 DRAMRIFFIC CROWNS
After reading several of Monica Murphy’s books, I have come to love her writing. Her books are always filled with complex and flawed characters, generally searching for acceptance from themselves or others. And, although Just Friends is a YA novel, it, too, follows Olivia as she tries to make sense of who she and what she wants, as the relationships around her grow and change.

4 UNDER THE RAINBOW CROWNS
A.M. Hargrove delivers a sweet and adorable romance with For the Love of English, and you will have no choice but to be sucked in by this little girl and her precocious nature, I certainly was.

5 PUCKING GREAT CROWNS
This novella is everything that readers of Helena Hunting have come to love. The girls have crazy conversations that are pretty much TMI, but oh so entertaining to read. There are lots of sexy times between each of the characters. But most importantly, she allows you to take a glimpse into the world that is filled with love on all levels: lovers, friends, and family.

5+ BE MY ADVENTURE CROWNS
Wilder is absolutely everything that I love in a romance novel. It is well-written with interesting characters and engaging plot line, but sometimes a book just has that certain something, that spark, that piece that makes it special, makes it stand out among the rest, and for me the first book in The Renegades series hits the mark.

4 MAKE ME CROWNS
I just love Chandler. The story is engaging, funny, freaking hot, and well-written, and the man himself will absolutely win over the reader’s heart!

5 BREAK MY HEART CROWNS
Meghan Quinn is known for bringing laughter to the romance world with her outrageously hilarious characters and stories. But when I love Meghan Quinn most is when there is a more serious thread for her characters or story mixed in with all the hilarity, and Stroked Long delivers in all aspects, easily making this story one of my favorite books written by her.

4 FLY WITH ME CROWNS
Playboy Pilot hits the mark for a fun and entertaining romance with its adventurous characters, jet-setting romance, and fantastic writing.

Holy Freaking Heck, Elle Kennedy! What in the world did you do to me with your creation of Tucker and his story with Sabrina? It is absolute perfection, such a great way to end our time with the four boys of the Briar Hockey team who have completely earned my utter devotion.

Do you think you could live in the Point? Why or why not?
My answer is maybe yes. I like to take risk so maybe that’s what would make my life even better 😎
I would like to think so, but the danger always seems like it would be fun until you’re there.
