THE PLAYER

Release Day – April 17, 2017

 My musings…

5 Baseball Loving CROWNS

K. Bromberg hits a homerun with The Player. With the sizzling chemistry and the plot line, readers will be enraptured from chapter one.

Easton and Scout are both complex and emotionally damaged characters.  These tarnished parts of their characters serve as a sort of mirror in each other.  Within each other, they see the affects these issues have had on who they are, and they find a way to push through their worries to attempt to achieve something real and lasting together.

Readers will like Easton, as he has the swagger an athlete needs but it is subtle.  It isn’t the over-exaggerated confidence readers tend to see in athletic heroes. He has a dedication and loyalty to his sport and teammates, and the way her pursues Scout is with utter dedication, holding nothing back.

Readers will also enjoy Scout’s character. While she runs easily, her background makes her behavior easy to understand and even sympathize with. Just like Easton, she is completely dedicated to her job and make those she loves happy.

What will grab reader’s attention is the slow sizzling chemistry between Easton and Scout.  Their bickering, the way they challenge each other, and the flirting all seduce the reader into loving these two. On top of the romance, though, it is clear that there is something going on with the club and Easton, and having to wait to determine what kind of stunt was pulled will be absolute torture. I need to know, and will anxiously be awaiting the conclusion of this duet.

The Player is another sexy and entertaining sports romance from K. Bromberg. With this novel, she delivers what all sports romance readers exopect, and readers will be left completely satisfied with Mr. Wylder.

Synopsis:

Baseball has never been sexier in an all-new novel by New York Times Bestselling Author, K. Bromberg.

Easton Wylder is baseball royalty. The game is his life. His passion. His everything.

So, when an injury threatens to end Easton’s season early, the team calls in renowned physical therapist, Doc Dalton, to oversee his recovery. Except it’s not Doc who greets Easton for his first session, but rather, his daughter, Scout. She may be feisty, athletic, defiant, and gorgeous, but Easton is left questioning whether she has what it takes to help him.

Scout Dalton’s out to prove a female can handle the pressure of running the physical therapy regimen of an MLB club. And that proof comes in the form of getting phenom Easton Wylder back on the field. But getting him healthy means being hands-on.

And with a man as irresistible as Easton, being hands-on can only lead to one thing, trouble. Because the more she touches him, the more she wants him, and she can’t want him. Not when it’s her job to maintain the club’s best interest, in regards to whether he’s ready to play.

But when sparks fly and fine lines are crossed, can they withstand the heat, or is one of them bound to get burned?
