#MBreview “Hello Forever” by Sarina Bowen

Hello Forever by Sarina Bowen

Genre: MM Romance

 My musings…

4 Coming Home CROWNS

Sarina Bowen is solely responsible for opening the world of MM romance to me, and since that day, I have never looked book. Just like all of her other books, this story is filled with such amazing characters, sweet romance, and intimate moments that are heat-inducing and sweet.

Part of what makes this story so enjoyable is Axel and Cax. Axel has that natural charm, that something that is indescribable and just draws you in. Although he yearns to reconnect with Cax, he is incredibly respectful of the limitations Cax operates under, because he truly loves this man. Cax is a much more complicated character, and not because he is denying his sexual orientation, is a manwhore, or any of the other reasons that heroes sometimes causes problems for themselves. Cax knows who he is and who he wants, but there is so much weighing him down that he can’t seem to see the light. His reasons for denial only serve to make his character endearing and sympathetic.

Watching these two together is sweet but also hard. They face what, at times, seems to be insurmountable odds to be together. Their intense feelings for each other only serve to make their anguish palpable and heartbreaking. They way they choose to sacrifice for each other and delay gratification makes their relationship real and true love.

Sarina Bowen has created another heartwarming, soul-stirring novel that highlights that love is really love, and the introduction of new character makes me hope we will see more of this world.

ARC received in exchange for an honest review.

Hello Forever by [Bowen, Sarina]Synopsis:

A basketball game changed both their lives.

When they were only teenagers, Axel and Caxton were caught making out in the woods at church camp. And afterward, Cax had disappeared from all the youth group activities.

Six years later, Axel is astonished to spot his first love’s face in the crowd of a college basketball game he’s watching on TV—at a school which has just offered him a job. It’s a thousand miles away, in a tiny rural town. But suddenly, he can’t wait to get there.

Cax can’t believe his eyes when Axel appears in the same Massachusetts town where he now lives. And he’s still just as drawn to Axel as ever. But he can’t let himself go there again, because loving Axel will mean giving up everything else he holds dear.
Both men have so much to lose. But as far as their love is concerned, it’s Hello Forever.

Hello Forever was previously published as It’s Never Over. This is a stand-alone novel with no cliffhangers. Readers of Goodbye Paradise will get to check in on Caleb and Josh and their clan.
