Sarah’s Musings…

Don’t let SM Soto fool you. Seriously! She looks sweet, but there is devious brain at work. Creed and Sophia’s story continues with Blood and Chaos, and Soto holds nothing back. Nothing. Prepare your hearts and buckle up for the ride.

Creed is edgier in this book, darker. Is it possible, yes? But you know what SM Soto accomplishes? She is able to still keep him, at his core, the hero we fell in love with during the first book. There is a light inside of him even if the darkness slowly encroaches. My love for him and the way he protects and adores Sophia is perfection.

Sophia has more grit than the average heroine. She is a true survivor, even if at times she doesn’t seem to care about her own safety.

This book. THIS BOOK. From the opening page, SM Soto has me clutching my chest and had my heart racing. Why does she do this to me? Why? I don’t think I can take another beating, but you know what? I will because I’m addicted! All hail creed and my newest author obsession!

ARC received in exchange for an honest review.

We thought the games were over…but they’ve only just begun.

She was the puppet.

He pulled the strings.

Now the death toll is rising, what could this mean?

It was all a game.

Of feelings.

Of pain.

Death is just an illusion, or so they say.

She was just a pawn on a piece of his demented board. But there’s only one question left to settle the score…Can dead people really stay dead?

Sophia Cova lived a quiet, normal life, shadowed in sadness after the loss of her parents in a tragic airline accident. With her older brother being her only living relative and her anchor, Sophia is sure she’s destined for a brighter future. But that was until she was taken.
Stolen from her mundane, orderly life, she was drugged, and woke to every woman’s worst nightmare.
With only four grimy basement walls and a rancid mattress, she loses her sense of time, and preserves what’s left of her dignity by hurtling herself into the safety of her mind. The men, the beatings, they come and go with no reaction, until she hears one word that sends an arctic chill through her body. Sold.
On the eve of Sophia’s bidding, at one of the largest sexual slavery rings in the world, all hell breaks loose in the mansion of horrors. Gunfire and screams erupt all around her, as panic rises.
Snatched by one monster only to be taken by another, Sophia slowly starts to learn that not everything is as it seems. When secrets unravel, and the twisted game of cat and mouse ensues, The Puppeteer pulls his favorite strings and chaos brews.
Lives are lost while the clock ticks, and only time will tell who will be killed next…

About the Author:

For as long as I can remember I’ve always had a deep-seated love for reading and writing. It pretty much started with my mom, she was a big reader way back when. One day I stumbled upon a box of V.C. Andrews books, and it was pretty much all history from there. I was probably only in the fifth or sixth grade when I actually started reading her books, and I fell completely in love. The characters, the plots, and the complexity of her stories were intriguing, and I often found myself rushing to read the next novel in the long line of her books.

I found myself drawn to any kind of romances and as I got older, I had a new found love for erotic romance, and dark romances (call me sick or twisted but its the truth).

As for writing, when I was younger I would write short stories or fan-fiction on some of my favorite books – You know, things I wanted to see more of, or how I wished a certain story would end.

I guess that’s where it all sort of began for me. After the birth of my son I just started putting my ideas down on paper and creating these stories, and characters. It was essentially my turn to put them through these trials, and see how they weathered whatever storm they were given. I’m a hopeless romantic at heart, most of the books I read and write are in the romance genre.

If you enjoy realistic romance, bad boys, and sassy heroine’s then you’ll love my books. <3
