Infinite (Book Two in the Indefinite Duet)
Release Date: July 22, 2019
Infinite is a rough ride. In true Corinne fashion, she puts you through the emotional wringer, but she also brings us out on the other side with an HEA.
Quinn is more of the swoony, ex Seal alpha we met in book one. My heart broke for him and how he struggled to reach Ash. It was easy to get wrapped up in their pain and their struggles.
I resonated with Ash and her plights more in this. The isolation she felt, the pain, and the feeling of having decisions taken away from you. It is hard to see you lose yourself, to lose a sense of control.
This is a story or loss and love. Corinne depicts a relationship that struggles because of said issues, but I think there is the everlasting idea that love accepts all forms of a person, HEAs don’t t look the same for everyone, and that real love can survive it all, eventually. I do wish there would have been more suspense involved based on the conclusion of book one.
Another heartbreaking romantic novel that is bound to break some hearts but also put them back together.
ARC received in exchange for an honest review.
I was right. I never should’ve fallen back in love with Quinn. I always knew we wouldn’t make it. And to make matters worse, not only did I lose my soulmate—I lost myself as well.
Everything was stripped away, leaving me bare and unable to breathe. No one told me it could hurt this much. I was unprepared for this level of agony from the horrible weight of grief.
I planned to love him infinitely. But what is infinity, when love always ends?
