A.L. Jackson & Rebecca Shea certainly take readers on one wild ride with this novella.  It is filled with insta-lust, insta-love whirl-wind romance between two likable characters.

From the minute these two meet, the chemistry is evident, and Paxton has no issues going after who he wants. Even though the characters are the basic archetype for the movie star romance trope, I still found them to be interesting. Would I have liked to know more about them? Maybe. One Wild Night, though, is a novella, and so the room for character development is limited.  What these authors do provide, however, is just enough to make me care about them. Watching them begin their relationship and face their first obstacle is a wonderful ride.

The story itself is very well paced and entertaining for a novella. We get to see the two of them begin their relationship. We see them share bits and pieces of themselves and navigate this new world as a couple in the life of fame.  It is pretty clear early on who will be responsible for the conflict, but the conflict is a solid one, even if expected. The resolution is quick but rectifies the insecurities and issues that have been plaguing the couple since the beginning of this speedy and sexy romance, and the epilogue brings the couple full circle, which servers not only to deliver the HEA readers demand but to exemplify the evolution of the characters.

Quick. Sexy. Swoon-worthy. Readers will absolute fall for this charming Hollywood romance.
