Sarah’s Musings…

HOLY FREAKING…..I’m a mess. An unbelievable, emotional mess. I don’t know how to process this end of series. Raw Rebirth is EVERYTHING. It is worth every moment of waiting. I wanted to savor each page, each word. Let it ruminate and settle into my soul. The characters, the story, the writing….PERFECTION.

Twitch is everything I remember him to be. The epitome of a dark romance hero. The evolution of his character, though from Raw to Raw Rebirth is jaw dropping. Belle Aurora is able to take this hardened violent criminal, keep what is part of his core character, and show us a new man who loves, who stops at nothing to secure the safety and love of those he holds most dear. He will always be a top dark romance hero for me. Few compare to Antonio Twitch Falco.

Lexi’s development, just like Twitch, is fantastic. Her evolution into his queen, an equal partner, just as fierce and unapologetic with her love and protection, is everything I could have wanted for her. She is strong. She is open-minded. She is giving of herself. She is multi-faceted. More than anything, though, Belle Aurora makes her relatable in the way she loves her son and Twitch. She gives of herself when they need it and takes what she needs. I’m in awe of who she becomes.

This story has me emotionally spent. As most readers will expect, the sex and physical and emotional chemistry between Lexi and Twitch is off the charts, but Belle Aurora really upped the emotional connection between these two. I didn’t know if my heart could take it. Then she adds another level of suspense and a cast of characters who had me captivated. This tiny family made me fall in love with them. The danger had me flipping pages quickly to devour it, and yet as I got closer to the end slowing down because I didn’t want to go. I didn’t want this time with them to end. I didn’t want to say goodbye. Even now, I’m a bit sad, my heart hurts a bit, not because we didn’t get that HEA, but because this is it and I’m not ready. If that isn’t the sign of an EPIC book, then I don’t know what is.

Belle Aurora is a one-click author for me. I don’t care what she writes. Her blending of interesting characters, suspense, and romance is the perfect trifecta for a must read romance! And although I’m sad that this journey is over, I’m excited to get all the words from her in 2019.

Tricia’s Musings…

Raw: Rebirth is the fantastic conclusion to Twitch and Lexi’s story. It was everything I hoped it would be, and more. It had me gripped from the beginning with what I can safely say is the best prologue I’ve ever read. Very, very clever and slightly uncomfortable, but wonderfully so.

The passing of time and life’s struggles have inevitably changed these two and six years on we see the stronger, more grown up versions of themselves. Ms Aurora has done an amazing job of allowing them to grow in a way which feels appropriate, without taking away from their unique personalities.

Twitch’s actions and how he chooses to re-emerge are so typically “him” and his stalkerish ways are still very much in evidence. No less dominant, no less the in charge, dark hero, when it comes to those he cares about I do feel he is kinder, less harsh, and I loved him for it. Twitch the criminal was formidable. As a family man, he is incredible. Lexi too has come into her own. Her feelings and actions are real and relatable. No longer the indecisive woman, lost in her own thoughts she has emerged from the trauma of the past and evolved into a strong, capable woman. I congratulate this author on the way she has cemented the connection between them in a much more emotional way than we’ve seen before.

I absolutely loved the cast of supporting characters, even the ones I loved to hate. The best, most interesting, villains are the ones who evoke conflicting emotions and this author is an expert at creating such fantastically twisted people, ones who make you pause for a moment and almost feel sorry for them.

This book is everything and has everything. Danger, drama, violence, twists and turns, excitement, humour I didn’t expect, love and loyalty, all told from multiple POV, which is my absolute favourite. As the story drew to a close, and I could see the last few sentences in my peripheral vision, I stopped reading for a minute or two, as I didn’t want to let these characters go! I’m so pleased we got to read the conclusion of Twitch and Lexi’s epic love story but I’m missing them already.

Raw: Rebirth (RAW Family, #3)

It had been six years since my world was turned upside down.
He exposed me to the darker side of life and I could never go back to the person I was.
I had been through more things the average person couldn’t even relate to.

If I had the chance to go back and do things differently though?
Not a chance.

I’d pick him a thousand times. A million times. For eternity.

I guess not much has changed.

My name is Alexa Ballentine, and I am still in love with my stalker.
