SWITCH HITTER by Sara Ney
Release Day – March 15
Novella – Standalone
4.5 Heavenly CROWNS
Sara Ney has me totally invested in Jock Row. With Switch Hitter she has already made me fall in serious love with Amelia and Dash, and the prospect of seeing them again, even as secondary characters, has me excited for this new series.
Because it is a novella, readers don’t get too much information about these characters, but because they are just meeting and getting to know each other, these moments seem authentic. We get to know Dash and Amelia along with the characters. What is not lacking is chemistry. These two hit it off from the beginning, and I swear with every word uttered from Dash’s mouth, I swooned, especially when it is Spanish. Plus, both of these characters were lovable and honorable.
This is the perfect plot for a novella. We get the first date, getting to know you fun, with the pay off at the end. There is conflict that is genuine, the falling action makes secondary characters redeemable and the resolution to the story is HOT.
Switch Hitter is a fabulous introduction to her new series coming in 2018. I’m already dying for more, and I’ve only had a little taste of this world!

I knew something was wrong the second she walked in the door tonight; I just couldn’t put my finger on what it was.
Same hair color.
Except…I look harder.
At the small dimple beneath her lip that wasn’t there the last time we went out. And her laugh—that laugh isn’t as loud.
This isn’t the girl I’ve gone out with the past few weeks.
It’s her twin sister, and they’ve switched places on me.
Only I’m not quite ready to let them switch back.
