4 Second Times a Charm Crowns
Heather has done it again, with this delightfully funny second chance romance that will have you laughing out loud. I’m normally not a big fan of second chance romances, but I simply adore Heather and her uniquely charming writing style that always has me completely enraptured with her stories. And Nya and Liam story did just that, this couple grabbed ahold of my heart and didn’t let go.
Heat blooms in my chest. The smell of alcohol on his breath is oddly arousing. It’s not even fair that he’s been blessed with sexy morning breath, of all things. He’s not at all deserving of such sex appeal.
Liam is absolutely delightful; this man will have you swooning all over the damn place. I loved his sarcastic sense of humor and that he doesn’t hesitate to make Nya angry because he loves her reaction, this is such a husband thing to do. But under all that is a man that just wants his old life back. I loved that he could see where he went wrong and tried to make it right. He didn’t place blame he owned the part he played in their separation.
I miss her. I miss her easy smiles and our mundane conversations. The way she didn’t hesitate to call on me for anything and everything. Or nothing at all. I miss my friend.
Nya is a fireball this woman is just as sarcastic as Liam and I loved the banter that it created. They genuinely enjoyed each other’s company and you can sense the connection and comfort they have with each other that only comes from a strong love and time spent together.
There’s no one else for me; it’s more obvious than ever. What we share goes so much deeper than a physical connection. We’re bonded at a molecular level. Scarred on one another’s hearts. Engraved on each other’s souls.
Each one of Heather’s books is better than the last, she continues to grow as a writer, and it shows in her work. I have loved her writing for a long time, ever since Breakaway and I have to say that I’m still in love with her work to this day. This book is an adorably sweet second chance romance and Heather freaking slayed it. This book will have you laughing out loud one minute and swooning into a puddle the next. These characters are wonderfully likable and will leave you with a huge smile on your face. I highly recommend this book even if you’re not a fan of second chance romances, this might just change your mind, it did for me!

Certainly not Nya Perez…because that’s precisely what she’s done.
Liam Watts is the bane of her existence.
Her first love. Father of her child. And breaker of her heart.
Oh, he’s also her ex-husband. Well, he was, anyway…right up til this morning, when she woke up beside him in a Vegas hotel room, sheathed in satin and tulle with a sinking feeling in the pit of her stomach.
If it were just between the two of them, an annulment would be the obvious solution. After all, they wouldn’t be the first to marry and divorce at the little white chapel in the span of twenty-four hours.
But their daughter’s greatest wish has just been granted, and if there’s one heart Nya wants to protect more than her own, it’s Ellie’s.
So, she promises to give it six months.
There’s no way she’ll be swayed by his thick southern drawl, those well-defined abs, or that annoyingly delectable scruff lining his cheeks.
Nope. She’s got it all under control. Six months of playing house, then everything can go back to the way it was before.
But first she’ll have to muddle through marriage with Liam—𝒕𝒂𝒌𝒆 𝒕𝒘𝒐.
