The Sinful King, a new, sexy, 100% stand-alone novel by New York Times bestselling author, Claire Contreras, is LIVE!
5 Sin With Me CROWNS
The Sinful King was everything and nothing like what I expected it to be. It was regal with a dash of forbidden and sweet with moments of stolen seduction.
Prince Elias really wasn’t really what I expected him to be. He was grumpy and gruff, but once readers learn of all that weighs on his shoulders and his impending future, it is clear why he is so abrasive at times. I couldn’t imagine being in his shoes, and so his behaviors and actions make him a more sympathetic character. And I am not going to lie, this hero straight made me swoon. My heart fluttered during certain scenes. His romantic game is STRONG.
The heroine is someone who I enjoyed as well. The struggle she goes through as she balances what she wants and what she can have all while trying to protect her heart and live in the moment. We live for the moments of being swept away, of someone loving us above all, and I really connected with that aspect of her character. It is hard when your logical and emotional side battle, as the heart’s desires generally win out. So, again, I found myself more understanding of her character and her choices.
I absolutely loved this story. It is PURE ROMANCE in every single way. It is what we hope for, a love that conquers all, that endures, and that makes us better people. I truly get swept away in their courtship, and the grand gesture is the stuff of HAPPILY EVER AFTERS.
The Sinful King is epic royal romance, every single little girl’s fantasy come true with the adult steam romance readers love. Don’t miss it.
4 Fairytale Crowns
Claire has written a flawlessly beautiful story that will sweep you off your feet and make you believe in fairytales again. This is most definitely one of those stories that takes you back to when you were a child and had fantasies of marrying the Prince and living happily ever after. As you grew older you stopped having those fantasies because it wasn’t realistic anymore, but reading this makes you feel as if maybe it could be!
His kiss was electric, his touch an awakening as his hands made their way down my body, unzipping my dress and letting it pool at our feet.
I loved Elias and Adeline, they were absolute perfection together. And their chemistry was instantaneous and explosive, from the second they meet you can feel that between them. It’s not a slow build it’s a flash fire of intense heat! Every moment between them had this passionate push and pull, you could tell even when they were trying to fight it that what they felt was deep and real.
“Good. Let’s finish up here, please. I’m starving and feel like I’m going to die under a pile of romance novels.” “Hey, there are worse ways to go.” I raised and eyebrow. “You could die under a pile of autobiographies.”
Elias was charmingly grumpy, even when he was attempting to be a jerk it just came off as adorable. Like a big Ol’ teddy bear that you can’t help but want to snuggle. You could tell that he had a lot of priorities and expectation’s on him given that he was the future King. But even so you could see how much he truly cared for Adeline. He was in a constant battle between what he wants soul deep and what is expected of him because of his position. You can feel his struggle throughout this story, I couldn’t imagine what it would feel like not to be able to be with someone just because of their status. It broke my heart every time you could see his internal struggle.
I shook my head as I tried to catch the breath he stole from me.
Adeline was just lovely, she was fighting her own demons and trying to come to terms with some things that happened. But she was ultimately the girl next door. She is very smart and has her own opinions regarding politics and what is going on in their world today. And she pushes Elias to be better to think outside the box that he has been shoved into. That dynamic between them gave the sense of equality, he listened to her and took her opinions seriously when he could have just scoffed and made her feel like she wasn’t on par with him because he was future King. I loved that about this story, Elias never made her feel like a commoner, and he valued her, her thoughts and feelings.
“C’est encore mieux que je ne l’imaginais.”
Claire has created an absolutely delightful Royal Romance that will leave you with a huge smile on your face and stars in your eyes. She is a master at crafting stories that pull you in from the very second you start reading and hold you captive until you’re done! I loved this story so much, it was light and sweet and exactly what I needed.

If you had any ties to Marbella, it was impossible for you not to have heard the stories about Prince Elias and his debauchery.
Every summer he arrived with his security detail and friends in tow and rented out a row of cottages near the water.
Cottages that belonged to my family.
Each of those summers, my parents sent me away – summer camp and later, boarding school. Anything to keep me away from the royals and their partying.
I hadn’t been home in years, but when I finally come back for the summer, I see that not much has changed. Like all the summers I’d been gone, Prince Elias is back, but this time with an incognito security detail and no friends. This time, there is no partying, no noise, no crowds. No reason at all to even think he was there.
I’m given strict orders not to talk to him, not to even look in his direction, but he makes this an impossible task. I may be doing everything in my power to stay away from him, but there is no one in the world who can say no to the future King of France.
