Transcend, an all new romance filled with love in unexpected places
from Jewel E. Ann is LIVE!
5 LAZY DAISY CROWBS
I walked into this expecting another romance. I expected moments to make me swoon, moments that broke me, and moments that showed me the essence of love, and I got all of that. What I didn’t expect is to feel so torn, to feel like a heart could belong to many, to want her to go but understand her need to stay. My mind is a discombobulated mess, and I need Epoch ASAP to ease my heart.
I don’t know how Jewel E. Ann did it, but I love all of these characters: Swayze, Griff, and Nate. The pull between them is real, what they feel is authentic. The love between them is 100% unique (for those readers who care, no physical cheating occurs, and I would venture to say no emotional because it is more ethereal than that). Swayze and Nate’s relationship is other-worldly and the draw inexplicable, but the author makes you feel it. I never once could fault her decisions. I wanted to, trust me, but like her, I felt torn between Griff and Nate (not in a love triangle type of way but a loyalty type of way). Griff and Swayze – god, do I want a relationship like theirs. Passionate, all consuming, I could feel the love for each other ripple of the pages and wrap around my heart. The way he takes care of her physically and emotionally is something we wish for. I couldn’t help but love him and her.
I don’t even know how to accurately explain the pacing or development of plot. My words could never accurately explain it, but her tale is one that will bewitch you from page one. From the love between Griff and Swayze, the unexplained connection between Nate and Swayz, and the surprise at the end of Transcend, I was left dying for more. She also intertwines this romance with a bit of spiritual beliefs and ideas that I won’t share because of spoilers, but, god, it is all so AMAZING. I’m dying to know how it is all going to end.
This has been my first Jewel E. Ann novel, and it certainly won’t be my last. Transcend is more than romance. It is an examination of the heart, of our connections with another’s soul, and of how love in all forms transcends the physical walls the human world tries to put up. It is absolutely FABULOUS!

“In another life, she was my forever.”
An unexpected tragedy leaves Professor Nathaniel Hunt a widower alone with a newborn baby.
He hires a nanny. She’s young, but well-qualified, with a simple life, a crazy name obsession, and a boyfriend she met at the grocery store.
Over time, he discovers she knows things about him—things that happened before she was born—like a hidden scar on his head, his favorite pizza, and how he cheated on a high school Spanish test.
She speaks familiar words and shares haunting memories that take him back to over two decades earlier when he lost his best friend in a tragic accident.
“I’m afraid of what’s going to happen when you realize I’m not her.”
Transcend is a sexy, mind-bending journey that uncovers possibilities, challenges beliefs, and begets the age-old question: is there life after death?

About Jewel E. Ann:
Jewel is a free-spirited romance junkie with a quirky sense of humor.
With 10 years of flossing lectures under her belt, she took early retirement from her dental hygiene career to stay home with her three awesome boys and manage the family business.
After her best friend of nearly 30 years suggested a few books from the Contemporary Romance genre, Jewel was hooked. Devouring two and three books a week but still craving more, she decided to practice sustainable reading, AKA writing.
When she’s not donning her cape and saving the planet one tree at a time, she enjoys yoga with friends, good food with family, rock climbing with her kids, watching How I Met Your Mother reruns, and of course…heart-wrenching, tear-jerking, panty-scorching novels.
