My musings…

5+ SWEET and DELICIOUS CROWNS

Bromberg has brought her #A-Game with this sweet and delicious second chance romance! It is sweet, it is dirty, it is pure romance in all of its glory. I absolutely love every single word, every character, and every detail of this story line. It is simple delectable!

The sole man responsible for my love of this book is Hayes Whitley.  Holly hell!  K. Bromberg may have broke the mold with this hero.  He is insanely attractive and fit, hello Hollywood royalty, but he is more than that! Hays Whitley is a man of action, a man that does more than talk but shows the people he loves how much he loves them with action, and, boy, does he ever deliver.  There is not one reader whose heart will be saved from the actions of this man.  His a-game is on point, and I was swooning all over the place.  Seriously, he is the hero that real men hate, the one that gives women expectations of what we want from a relationship.  But more than the romantic and dedicated aspect of his character is this man that has still retained his boyish charm, who teaches Saylor to embrace life and live a little more and to gain who she used to be back, and I love him even more for this.  His actions along with the words he speaks has put Hayes Whitley solidly in the heroes to love category at the very top of the list!

The other half to this dynamic couple is Saylor, a heroine people will respect.  She has made hard decisions in her life recently that have left her reeling, but what makes the reader respect her is her dedication to doing the right thing.  She could have easily fell in line, lived a life for others, but she shows courage to break away and conviction to stay away, earning unlimited respect from this reader. What is also enjoyable about her character is that she is a spitfire and isn’t afraid to show how she feels, and even though her temper can get the best of her, readers will be awed by the poise and grace with which she behaves during some of the most difficult scenes in the book.  I absolutely adore this heroine!  I rooted for her, cried for her, and wanted her so desperately to get everything she deserved!

This story will warm your heart.  I honestly can’t tell you how many times I caught myself smiling giddily at my Kindle screen, just absorbing the love and contentedness of the characters, or how many times I cheered as I watched Saylor get a little piece of herself back, or how many times I gave an internal sigh every time Hayes delivered on every promise he ever made.  This story will hit you in the heart and fill it to the brim with the memories, the romance, and the road to reconciliation. It is pure second-chance romance perfection!img_9076

Bromberg has won my heart and my reader allegiance with this novel. Her stories, her characters, her words are the epitome of what romance should be. Behind the sex, behind the words, behind the story line is just the base idea that love is worth fighting for, that love is about more than words but actions, and that love, when real, is worth any sacrifice, because with real love a person will only be bolstered by their actions and more fulfilled with their lives.

Sweet Cheeks is going down as one of my favorite reads of the year, and definitely one of my favorite second chance romances of all time.  I absolutely love every single minute of this story, and I enjoyed every minute of immersion into this world.  So if you are looking for a sweet treat that will melt your heart and fix your romance craving, Sweet Cheeks is the book for you!

sweetcheeks_frontcoverSynopsis:

An all new second chance love story by the New York Times Bestselling author of the beloved Driven series.

It all started with the invitation. To my ex-fiance’s new wedding.

I should have ignored it. Thrown it away. Set it afire. But I didn’t. I replied.

With a plus one.

And then my assistant accidentally mailed it.

Enter Hayes Whitley. Mega-movie star. The man who has captured the hearts of millions. But I gave him mine years ago. He was my first love. He was my everything. Right until he up and left to chase his dreams without so much as a simple goodbye.

When he showed up out of the blue ten years later, I should have known to steer clear of him. I should have rejected his offer to take me to my ex’s wedding. I should have never let him kiss me.

But I didn’t.

And now we’re left wondering if the pieces of the life we once shared still fit together somehow. First loves are hard to forget. The question is, do we want to forget? Or do we risk the chance and see what happens next?

About the Author:

dsc_0087New York Times Bestselling author K. Bromberg writes contemporary novels that contain a mixture of sweet, emotional, a whole lot of sexy, and a little bit of real. She likes to write strong heroines, and damaged heroes who we love to hate and hate to love.

She’s a mixture of most of her female characters: sassy, intelligent, stubborn, reserved, outgoing, driven, emotional, strong, and wears her heart on her sleeve. All of which she displays daily with her husband and three children where they live in Southern California.

On a whim, K. Bromberg decided to try her hand at this writing thing. Since then she has written The Driven Series (Driven, Fueled, Crashed, Raced, Aced), the standalone Driven Novels (Slow Burn, Sweet Ache, Hard Beat, and Down Shift), and a novella (UnRaveled). She is currently finishing up Sweet Cheeks a standalone novel out November 14th.

Her plans for 2017 include a sports romance duet (2 books: The Player, The Catch) and the Everyday Heroes series (3 books: Cuffed, Combust, and Cockpit). She’s also writing a novella for the 1,001 Dark Night series that will be out in February 2017.

She loves to hear from her readers so make sure you check her out on social media.
