INAPPROPRIATE IS LIVE!
A Standalone Contemporary Romance
#1 New York Times Bestselling Author Vi Keeland
5 RAIN AND FLOWER CROWNS
I truly could not have loved this book more. I laughed, I swooned, and I felt uninhibited joy watching these two fall in love. It was a book that I felt in every single way.
Grant and Ireland are just magic. Their chemistry permeates each page, their banter was entertaining. I just found myself loving every minute they were together. They are the epitome of what a romance couple should be.
The story is really what sealed the deal for me. Inappropriate is so much more than I ever thought it was going to be, and, honestly, it is the reason I will always read Vi Keeland’s books. Readers get every single thing readers expect in a romance, but they also get a story about forgiveness and healing. It is a journey of self reflection and happiness. It is the truest form of a happily ever after, and my heart soared for these two.
This is a must read!! One of my favorite books EVER from Vi Keeland. Her books are always good. But this book. This book is magic.
5 Heartbreaking Crowns
This book, let me tell you, it took me a couple day’s to get my head straight after reading it. It’s been a minute since a book hit me in the feels quite like this one did, and I was a complete wreck once I finished. But this book is so freaking worth it, Vi takes you on an epically emotional journey that you won’t be able to put down.
His smirk turned into a full-blown grin, yet there was still something very cocky about it. “Did anyone ever tell you that you have an arrogant smile?”
I instantly fell in love with Grant. His whole personality just did it for me. He was self-assured and cocky but at the same time he wasn’t. Grant has a whole boat load of issues he’s carrying around with him, but I think that’s one of the things I liked most. He was honest almost to a fault and in that honesty you could feel that he really is a genuinely good guy. He always put out there to every one of his “relationships” that he’s not a relationship guy, the woman just disregarded what he was saying.
“Your turn. Tell me something about you I don’t know.” He looked at my lips. “I want to devour your mouth.”
Queue Ireland. I loved their banter, immediately you could feel their connection it wasn’t forced or faked, it just felt natural and real. They both are sarcastic assholes and it just works for them. The evolution of their relationship was seamless, Ireland slowly and meticulously knocked down each and every brick that Grant had put up. And, I loved watching as their relationship grew in such an organic way.
“Wow.” I’d been kissed before, kissed really well even, but no one had ever kissed the shit out of me. My mind was in a fog from it.
I loved Ireland she was feisty and smart with a take no prisoner’s attitude. I about died that she would find what annoyed you and use that as a tactic to piss you off, it spoke to my soul! She was the perfect match for Grant they just meshed so well to together right off the bat and as their relationship progressed and she learn more and more about him she just accepted it. She didn’t push anything and try to get more than he could give her at those moments, she melted my heart with her understanding and empathy.
“Don’t gloat, sweetheart. You’re putty in my hands as much as I am in yours. I just don’t lord it over you.”
Vi tore my heart out with this story, she pulled zero punches and it was like a swift kick to the vagina. But I loved every single second of it. Vi’s writing is completely flawless and pulls you straight into the story from the start. The character development and transition of their relationship has you literally all up in your feels! I’m telling you, you need this story in your life, but be prepared, you are going to need tissues and your heart is going to physically ache throughout, but don’t worry Vi will put you back together again!

I couldn’t believe the letter in my hands.
Nine years. Nine damn years I’d worked my butt off for one of the largest companies in America, and I was fired with a form letter when I returned home from a week in Aruba.
All because of a video taken when I was on vacation with my friends—a private video made on my private time. Or so I thought…
Pissed off, I cracked open a bottle of wine and wrote my own letter to the gazillionaire CEO telling him what I thought of his company and its practices.
I didn’t think he’d actually respond.
I certainly never thought I’d suddenly become pen pals with the rich jerk.
Eventually, he realized I’d been wronged and made sure I got my job back.
Only…it wasn’t the only thing Grant Lexington wanted to do for me.
But there was no way I was getting involved with my boss’s boss’s boss. Even if he was ridiculously gorgeous, confident, and charming.
It would be completely wrong, inappropriate even.
Sort of like the video that got me into trouble to begin with.
Two wrongs don’t make a right.
But sometimes it’s twice as fun.

I wondered if he’d be here.
I was mid-conversation with some former colleagues I hadn’t seen in a few years when I got my answer. The sight of him made me lose my train of thought.
On the other side of the room, Grant Lexington stood wearing a classic black tuxedo. He was talking to an older gentleman, which gave me the opportunity to really take him in—tall, broad shoulders, yet not overly bulky, a narrow waist with one hand resting casually in his pants pocket. Even from a distance, his confidence registered. There was something about the way certain men held themselves that showed they were in charge, and that really worked for me. It could take a man who was a seven and make him an eleven in my book. On the other hand, a handsome ten with a meek personality could be reduced to a five.
Mr. Confident held a drink in his left hand and raised it to his mouth, but he stopped before drinking. He seemed to sense something and looked around the room. When his eyes caught mine, a slow, wicked smile spread across his face. He excused himself from the conversation and strode toward me.
My body tingled as I watched him approach with long strides, and I turned from the group I’d been standing with.
“What a pleasant surprise,” he said.
I tried to appear casual as I sipped my champagne. “I’m filling in for Bickman.”
He nodded. “Of course.”
Grant eyed the group next to me. “Are you here with a date?”
He smiled and shook his head. “Would a compliment be unwelcome? I wouldn’t want to sexually harass you.”
“Compliments are always welcome, Mr. Lexington.”
His eyes sparkled. Taking hold of my elbow, he led me a few feet away from the group I’d been standing with. “That’s a dangerous thing to say to a man like me.”
“What was the compliment anyway?”
Grant’s eyes swept over me. “You look beautiful tonight.”
I blushed. “Thank you.”
Grant stopped a waiter as he passed. He gulped back the rest of the amber liquid in his glass and slipped the flute of champagne from my hand, setting them both down on the waiter’s tray.
“I was drinking that.”
He motioned for the waiter to move along and returned his attention to me. “I’ll get you more when we’re done.”
“Done with what?”
He held out his hand. “Dance with me.”
I shook my head. “I’m not sure that’s such a good idea.”
He smirked. “I’m fucking positive it’s not.”
