Oh my goodness, I loved this story so much. I don’t often read novellas, as I sometimes find the plots aren’t developed enough for my personal taste, simply due to the nature of them but let me tell you, this story was not short on the good stuff. When the weather starts to turn cold outside, things inside the bar are definitely heating up between Charlie and Trick. In fact there’s more than a little spice on the menu this Christmas.

I absolutely loved Charlie, sweet natured, yet sassy, she doesn’t censor what comes out of her mouth and tells it like it is. Strong and feisty, with a great sense of humor, she’s not one to back down and I loved her grit and determination to regain control of her life.

Trick is so gorgeous and funny, kind and gentle, but definitely alpha when he wants to be. Such sexy traits to have in a hero, and Patrick Cavanaugh is one sexy man.

A short novella but one which is packed with romance, humor and a great, well written, descriptive storyline, which draws you into the lives and personalities of the characters. So enjoyable, I didn’t want it to end.
