Aundi’s Musings…

5 Daddy Crowns

Oh. My. God. Rina has absolutely outdone herself with Johnathan’s book. I’ve died and this is me writing this review from the grave, that’s how incredible it is. There were a lot of expectations going into daddy Johnathan’s story and let me tell you Rina nailed every single one. Her prose is flawless, her storyline intriguing, and let’s just say Johnathan is one of the top kinkiest character’s that Rina has created and I. AM. HERE. FOR. IT. ALL!!!!

So the short story Rule of a Kingdom is actually the beginning of this book, so if you didn’t read it fear not you get it here. The story progresses from there with Johnathan surprised by the sudden reappearance of someone he thought long gone. Just by how you’ve seen Aiden act with his Alpha possessive tendencies towards Elsa you just knew that Johnathan was going to be worse. I mean where did Aiden learn how to be that way, am I right? And let me tell you Johnathan is lusciously dark and depraved. You can feel his aura bleed from the pages and wash over you with this desire to obey him. You can legit feel his presence fill every single crevice of every room he’s in, it expands like a physical entity threatening to suffocate all those in his path. I knew he was going to be a force but I was not prepared for just how impressive that presence was going to be.

I loved Aurora she’s sassy and fierce trying her best to not bow down to this beast of man. The dynamic amongst the two of them is addicting to watch play out. The balance of power and the push and pull between them is pure fire, burning everything around them to the ground. You knew that it was going to take someone special to go toe to toe with a man like Johnathan and he has found that in Aurora. You want her to gain the upper hand you are in her corner rooting her on, and as the story progresses you become more and more obsessed with them.

From the instant you open this book you are pulled into the story, absolutely entranced by this world once again. I became lost to Rina’s words from the prologue not coming up for air until the very end. This story went above and beyond anything I could have expected, surpassing any expectation I may of had. Johnathan’s wickedness feeds my dark deviant soul in a way that only he can. I’m like a junky looking for his next fix waiting for the conclusion of this duet, anxious and needy for it. This book is easily one of my TOP READS of the year.

Reign of a King (Kingdom Duet, #1) by Rina Kent

Nothing is fair in war.

Jonathan King is every bit his last name.

He’s also my dead sister’s husband and way older than me.

When I first met him as a clueless child, I thought he was a god.

Now, I have to confront that god to protect my business from his ruthless grip.

Little did I know that declaring a war on the king will cost me everything.

When Jonathan covets something, he doesn’t only win, he conquers.

Now, he has his sights on me.

He wants to consume not only my body, but also my heart and my soul.

I fight, but there’s no escaping the king in his kingdom…
