Meghan has hit a home run with this slow burn, friends to lover’s romance that will hit you with a line drive straight in the feels. The boys of Brentwood are back in a big way and I am loving every minute of it. Indie and Lincoln are spectacular with a chemistry that is sizzles whenever they are together and a connection that is strong you can feel it burn from the pages.

This all started because of two meddling moms, and I have to say I died for this. Lincoln’s moms are amazing and the perfect amount of funny and embarrassing that any child can fully appreciate. They want their son to be happy and to them that means a girlfriend. Indie’s mom is the same, thinking that the only way she will be happy is if she finds a man. Enter the awkward first meeting that turns into a soul deep friendship that the two of them didn’t even know they needed.

Lincoln and Indie are similar in so many ways. They are both driven and athletic with strong goals in mind for their futures. They are headed in different directions so they know that whatever comes of their friendship won’t last after Lincoln gets drafted and Indie ends up wherever she does for soccer. But the strength of their bond and their deep rooted desire for each other will not be silenced and they inevitable fall into a friends with benefit’s type situation.

Meghan has captured my heart and soul with this book. Watching as Indie goes through her experiences and finds the strength that she needs in Lincoln will tear your heart wide open. I was consumed from the minute I opened this book until the very last page. You can tell from the start that these two are meant for each other they just needed to get their lives together for that to happen. And seeing some of the old school guys come through was a highlight for me, I miss Maddox something fierce. This book was an absolute delight to read, the dynamics between the characters and the flawless way the Meghan writes will keep you utterly entertained. Without a doubt Lincoln and Indie are a top Meghan couple for me!!!
